The opening act was Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Naturally I was familiar with Slash (from his Guns N’ Roses days) but had never heard of the guys he was playing with. They did a fantastic job. The lead singer (Myles Kennedy) has a great voice. Although the sound mix wasn't the best overall I’d give them a “B” and really enjoyed their performance.
Never could get a good group photo of them.
It was fun to notice Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford catching some of the show from the wings:
After the show I was lucky enough to get the set list.
There was about a 30-45 minute intermission before Aerosmith took the stage. Wonder how all those people WAY BACK THERE are doing?
